#31: Leah Crane - Progress through play, with raspberries on top.
We kick off series 4 of the podcast with the ever so wonderful Leah Crane. Climber, coach, and mum to one incredibly endearing bubba.
Leah has spent most of her life climbing and competing. She won multiple British Bouldering Championships, and was a honed competitor on the World Cup circuit before stepping into the role of coach.
Leah's approach to coaching is refreshing, and downright fun. Years of working with Olympic climber Shauna Coxsey, lead her to explore the idea of progress and training through PLAY.
If you happen to be lucky enough to take a workshop with Leah, you will likely be rolling around on the mat, laughing uncontrollably, before you can even say "what's the beta?" She shares why this approach resonates with her, and why it can a powerful tool to unlock your own motivation.
Big thanks to our sponsors for this episode and series 4 of the Mum's Gone Climbing Podcast. Urban Climb and Climbing Anchors.
